Cute pic of an excellent snake: congrats!
However, it is always worriesome for me to see a snake fed directly on loose substrate, even shredded aspen. As you can see in the image, there is a LITTLE piece of aspen stuck to the tail of this mouse. Over time (if the snake doesn't pass it piece by piece) or if it accidently ingests a little more than what we see in this photo), this undigestable material can get "trapped" in this snakes digestive tract resulting in impaction and death. This ain't good: trust me!
You may wwant to consider feeding on something else other than the substrate.
