The reptiles in the immediate area would be toast. The ones in the outlying areas would do much better than the people would.
Maybe it would curb the collection of thousands of torts for the pet trade. My friend has a wholesale reptile business. When I went to visit him the other day, he had just got a shipment of 1000 russian torts destin for petco's. It was real sad to see these guys walking all around the warehouse floor [to many to keep in enclosures]knowing most of these poor guys are going to end up in a small tank with a light bulb and some useless romain lettuce untill they slowly die of abuse or malnutrition. I'd rather die in a bomb blast.
