but seriously, an interesting point, the idea of the "philosophy" and the "reaction". Obviously you know what my philosophy would be, and given the time to fully think it out in a stress free, non-hurried situation, I would guess that would be the way I would act. On the other hand, put into a stressful situation requiring quick thinking, who knows whay my "instinctual reaction" would be. No one really knows what their reactions to life and death situations will be. I've been in several and each time reacted in ways that sometimes surprised me, or that were completely expected.

I guess it's the difference between "thinking" and "doing".
