You mean, about time pet stores start taking responsibility for other people's stupidity? I don't see why it should be the responsibility of the person who's selling the animal to educate the buyer on the species in question, though I do think it's a good idea for the seller to make sure the buyer knows what they're getting into. It takes a lot more information than what you can fit on one care sheet to learn how to care for a herp properly. If the individual who's buying the animal was too lazy to do the research before they went to the store to get it, they'll probably be too lazy to read the care sheet as well. This new law seems like a waste of time and a pointless hassle to me.
