help me help him please

I found my cousins iguana in his cage yesterday and he cant even hold himself up on his own. Im not quite sure whats wrong with him but hes not really respondent to anything. I tried to give him water through a eye dropper but he still isnt getting any better. I would bring him to the vet, but they dont really know anything about iguanas around where I live and Im also worried about taking him outside. I dont want the poor little guy to freeze to death if I sudject him to such cold weather. Do you have any advise that I could try to do for him that may help him along and on the right path to recovery? Its so hard to sit here and watch him wither away. His skin looks like its three times to big for his body. HELP... any advice will help me at this point. Thanks.
