I just wanted to clear this up in case my post brought on the rant. In my post I mentioned that the I gg could possibly have MBD ( just because it is a very common ailment). I suggested that she get some greens and tums for the Igg ( which will not hurt him no matter what the problem is. I would never tell someone that I can tell exactly what is wrong with the animal over the net or that I know more than a vet who is there with the animal. I highly stressed taking the Igg to the vet. I was just trying to give here some basic help in case there is no vet in her area at all.

: From what you described it sounds like one of the issues is dehydration (the loose skin). Try putting a cool mist humidifier in the room that the iguana is in to boost ambiant humidity. It's NOT a cure or a fix all but may help him to be more comfortable. Also, instead of the eye dropper, get a clean spray bottle, one that has not been used for anything but water and try spritzing the water into his mouth -he may lick off the droplets from his face.

: Again -these ARE NOT cure alls, the animal still needs to go to a vet.
