A warning for folks

I just noticed yesterday that spazzy has some critters who have taken
up residence in her cage. I have done everything to avoid this from happening
including taking her out of the cage for a day and spraying it down with
bleach and water (50/50) She has a troop of tiny tiny tiny red ants, Her cage is
cleaned continueously and I know it's the food that is attracting
them. So far my guess is I have killed easily 250 of them...
removed everything that would attract them but so far I still see
them...I give her her food, and as soon as she is done I remove it
and clean her cage again...to no avail. yet...I have even torn my
room apart to see if anything their might be attracting them.
If I am missing something any help would be appreciated. Going to do the
50/50 bleach and water again today. Is their something else I should be
doing? Spazzy has a daily bath so it's not her. But tis the season for
ants and thought perhaps someone else might notice this too.
