I had them in Spike's cage last year, thankfully none this year. Sadly they did get into my crickets cage -there went 2 bucks, and into my tarantulas cage - I FREAKED out cuz I couldn't find the tarantula, but I got lucky, he/she had decided to sleep on the side of the tank and the little b.... couldn't find it. They just ate the crickets I had stuck in there the night before.
I have used the ant bait stations too, they seem to work. Haven't had them back in my house since.
