We've had great results from them and they know we have reptiles and don't want any harmful chemicals near them-- so they use lots of bait and track down the ants in the yard. They also bait the house, caulk up everything and put powder down (I only let them do this in the bedrooms where the lizards aren't allowed to visit anymore). Our lizards have food everywhere-- and dried old food sometimes hidden in their cage under things, but so far thank goodness, no ants have found the lizard room.
