A few Iguana questions from a novice

Hello. . I am thinking about adopting a 4ft female Iguana and am doing extensive research on them Since my only pet experiance is with my 3 parrots, 2 cats, 2 dogs, and ferret. I worked in the pet care profession as a dog groomer, vet assistant, service dog trainer for 13 years. And before you wonder. Yes I will have time to dedicate to another pet as I have 2 children and husband who also spend a considerable amount of time with our family pals. : )

I just don't know much about Iguanas outside of their feeding, housing, and lighting requirements. what I wanna know is how aggressive can I count on her to be? Her present owner who allows her free roam of his kitchen says that she is very tame. But I have been reading stories about some serious bites some recieve from their Iguanas. I have a Blue and Gold Macaw, a African Grey, and a Umbrella Cockatoo any of them COULD give me very nasty bites, even remove a finger. But they DON'T and I trust them totally, as I feel that is the only way I can expect them to trust me, I have never been bitten by any of them, and I was just wondering in the same respect, Will a well cared for Iguana bite for little or no reason? And do Females go through the seasonal aggression I have read about?

Also I plan on keeping her in a 4 1/2 ft round, 1 foot tall childs free standing pool, using astro turf as the flooring, and something to climb on in the middle,in the same room as my birds. Is that okay or is it a mistake? I can't have her free roaming because of the messes on the floor, And I don't think an aquarium is large enough

Sorry for the length of this letter. I would appriciate a e-mail to me in answer to my questions, or other tips. Thanks!!!!!!!! : )
