Thanks for clearing that up. : ) I forgive you LOL I wrote that note after reading your post, and I was still feeling a little hurt, later I read some of your posts to see if you are just a judgmental kinda person, or to see if maybe you was just having a bad day yourself, You seemed very sensitive and nice in the other posts that you composed, So then I felt bad having sent the second post. . . I'm glad you didn't get pissed at me. LOL

I do know that lizards and birds can exist in the same room together as long as they have no contact. Birds don't seem to mind them, and they don't pay attention to the birds. Birds can't be in close proximity to snakes, Because they still think of them as a preditor, and it makes them nervous. The reason Parrots can't have any interaction with lizzards is that birds are VERY sensitive to bacteria. For example, if a bird were to get even the tinyest scrape from a cat claw, the bird WILL be dead within a 24 hour period. I bet an Iguana claw may be as bad. Or if a bird ingests saliva from a dog or cat, it can have basically the same effect. Not to mention if my Macaw (Portia) had an Iguana climbing up the side of her cage the poor Iguana would loose her feet. Yes Parrots like it warm, in the winter. Their room stays around 85-90 year round. My Macaw, and Umbrella Cockatto are from the Amazon Rain Forest, and African Grey, of course from Africa, so that is why I keep it warm for them in the winter, While the rest of us shiver in this 100 year old drafty house. : )

Well I guess I know now that the pool thing isn't a good idea! I'm glad I know now then when I got her home. To be honest with you I thought that Iguanas did nothing but eat, bask, eat, bask and maybe go to the other side of the cage and do it again. I thought of them as sluggish, and very slow moving. . . I had no idea they were actually little green rockets in disguise. : ) I also didn't know how much they pottied. I figured they were like birds, about once every 30 minutes. Especially with all of the veggies they eat! : ) So the fact that it is only about 1 time a day is encouraging, and had no idea they could be potty trained, But I know my husband wouldn't go for a free roaming Iguana : ) And I'm not sure my other pets would either.

Well maybe she isn't going to come home with me after all. I don't know I will have to think about it more, Her owner is looking for a new home for her because she has gotten so large, and he doesn't like the mess to clean up. I just hope that her new owner will take the time to learn about her. And she doesn't end up stuck in a aquarium eating lettuce. : (
