I think that all iguana's are different. My first
was a 3 year old girl. She had the sweetest temperment
and never tried to bite or tail whip. I only had to
worry about her claws. My second one was a baby
when I got him, he went through a biting stage around
breading season. I am not sure if it was because of
breading season, or his age. Now 6 months later he is
the sweetest, and only trying to biting when provoked.
I know now to watch him during breading season, but don't
antisipate a problem. Visit the iguana that you are
interestood in. That will give you a better idea if you
will get along with her first. It will also give you an
idea what to expect from her, and know her personality a little.
I visited my first one several times before I took
her home. Good luck
