Your view from the top of your soapbox must be breathtaking. I agree with you on two points. One, suturing is not a major procedure and if you have experience doing it on livestock and people(my brother as I mentioned before, an iguana is not that different. And two, people that hide behind a computer and toss out insults are something less than manly. If we met face to face I don't believe you'd have the courage to insult me the way you have, but you seem perfectly content to hide behind your keyboard in cyberspace and hurl your venom. It takes real courage to do that I'm sure. You, like lots of others on these boards like to jump without getting your facts straight. You know nothing about me, my experience with animals, my familys experience or anything else. Instead of simply offering help you tale an opportunity to slam me. Would it interest you to know that I've had reptiles for a decade now. That I've had breeding successes with my corn snakes and leopard gecko's. That, up until this incident, I'vee never had a major problem. That the vet in our area, though admittedly not an expert in the field, helps me as much as he is able. That between the two of us and the internet, we've done quite well so far. No, you don't take the time to find out anything. You just dive in feet first and start slinging mud. You're an example of an alarming phenomena in this day and age. People with a little knowledge who've made a little reputation for themselves, and who's self esteem is tied up in that little reputation. Instead of trying to help, they make themselves look big by denigrating others. I think thats where you're coming from. As far as my iguana is concerned, he seems to be doing fine. Appetite is healthy and his activity level is what it's always been. Flame away all you want to. I've taken what I consider to be reasonable steps to keep my animals healthy and happy. And if breeeding success, activity levels, healthy overall muscle tone are anything to go by, I've done OK.
