I agree that people here tend to belittle people when they sense any trepidation or inexperience with iguanas or any reptile for that matter. Does it really make any difference that you don't agree with his procedure? Since it's already done, wouldn't it be more productive to help him/her rather than trying to cut him down?

Anyone who claims to have knowledge on a subject should be more than willing to help someone who has less than them, and if they don't want to help, you're probably better off, but it would be better for everyone,since helping wasn't part of your plan, if you had just said nothing. These forums are here to help people, and it really pisses me off when someone replies to another's post just to spout their supposed knowledge while all the while bellittleing them, and in the end offering no help really.

BTW, I am the lizard king, I can do anything, so I don't need your advice.: Mr D, in your post you told Hasim "... since you came to an internet message board [AN internet message board?? This is THE message board for breeders/keepers of these animals! It is NOT just AN internet message board!] asking the question and looking for advice from complete and total strangers that may or may not be correct ..." We are the experts, remember? We are the people who have raised and investigated data on and have years of actual hands-on experience with these animals, remember? He didn't go to Wal-Mart and ask people in the lingerie section about this. He asked us. At least if he had gone to Wal-Mart (assuming there is a Wal-Mart in the boondocks of Canada) he would have encountered less arrogance.
