The thought of having prekilled rodents in my freezer and having to thaw them, is just gross in my opinion. I'm still trying to get used to dealing with 1 inch crickets and feeding them to the beardies and the cham. I'm lucky I have a bf cause he does all the feeding stuff, I do everything else.. lol. I wanted a Tegu first because I knew you could feed them a very varied diet. I thought that I could just feed him a good varied diet of people food, and have him very healthy by meeting all of its nutrician requirements. Unforuntately I was wrong. Plus my bf doesn't want to deal with rodents either. If you know of another way to feed a Tegu please tell me cause I would LOVE to have one.. lol

Also about the rescue, I'm not giving up on anything. I'm really just trying to figure out whats going to be the best for me. I found a rescue that I'm looking into thats about 2 yrs old.
