Her name is Lucy. We love her. We rescued her a week ago from someone who advertised her on a local bulletin board. We went to see her and knew right away that we had to have her. This is our first experience. We have four cats and six fish. She was being fed mice, cat food, dog food. We are feeding her salads made in a food processor and iguana alfalfa pellets. She is getting the hang of us and with a little persuasion, she will ride on our shoulders and sit on the back of the couch and check things out. She is shedding some. i do have a question. The last four inches or so of her tail is very stiff and it looks as though it could eventually fall off. Is it possible? Will it grow back if it does? Any helpful hints about general care of a new to us ioguana would be greatly appreciated. Russell & Cindi.
