:Here in Utah, the regs just got re-written so we're waiting, but the short horns and deserts should have a bag limit of 3-4.

Hey Chuck,
You are correct, in north western Nevada the Pygmy horned lizard(douglasi)the dwarf ones can be found. The short horned lizard(hernandezi),the larger ones can be found in the eastern part of the state. they were formely considered sub-species but recent DNA work concluded seperate species status. Jeff
