:Yesterday I went down to Ozzy's cage like any day. Well, when I got down there Ozzy's light was out. I looked for Ozzy in her cage. I was very very worried. I couldn't find her so I looked in the corners. I found her. Then I screamed. She was dead. Or so I thought.
:I got some leather gloves on and pulled her out. I ran upstairs and put warm water in the tub. I sat her in and slowly she thawed out and started to move. I put more warm water in the tub and waited until she felt a little warmer. I grabbed a ton of towels. And took her downstairs to the kitchen.
:Soon, my parents came home. I quickly told my dad the story. He told me she needed a better cage for tonight. (I'm making one this summer)

:I started to cry. I was so angry! I fought with my dad about the 10 gall. aquarium and the hot rock for 2 min. My dad was furious! He was cussing up the wall!
:Soon my dad told my mom to go to the neighbors and get a heat lamp bulb. While my mom was gone my dad and I got three towels and put 2 in the dryer and made them warm. We did this for a half an hour. Ozzy is hanging in there. Last night she was breathing out of her mouth. Phnamonia? Sorry if I spelled it wrong, spelling is the least of my worries! But what do you guys think it is? Don't tell me to take it to the vet, I am tomorrow. But I want to know what you think and how deadly it is.

I use both a heat rock and lamp for mine just for that problem.Now i'm not suggesting that anyone do it because god knows that its an evil thing to do but it saves me alot of headaches like this in the future.I've never had any problems from burns,scorches,scars or anything and i've used them for numerous iguanas from 2 ft to almost 6 ft. so obviously it cant be that bad.Heat lights burn out tooo quick whereas i've still got heatrocks going for over 2 years without any hassles.Patiently awaiting the riot.
