Hi,
I have an adult green iguana that is 5 years old and approx 46 inches long.
He managed to tear open his shoulder on a broken off piece of branch that he
basks on in his cage. It's my fault. I didn't think it could do any damage
but I was wrong. I'm going to disinfect it and stitch it up. Is Provo iodine
a good disinfectant to use on reptiles. Does it have any constituents that
might be toxic. I've asked my local vet but he's more of a horse and cow
kind of guy. Any help would be appreciated ASAP.
Thanks Hasim
