I live in the Yukon. And guess what. There are no exotic animal vets up here. Or any within several hours drive either. I've had the animal for 5 years. I got him on a trip down to Vancouver. As far as doing this before I've worked with some of the farm animals we own with my father. Up here you don't call for a vet for every little cut. Heck my Dad has even stitched up my brother. It's a very different world up here and I don't think you'd get to far with any of the people by threatening them with an attorney. Anyway my brothers and I used some of the medical supplies we have and stitched him up. He wasn't too happy about it I'll admit but he seems to be doing OK. I think he did more damage to us than we did to him. And no, we didn't wait days to do this. He injured himself sometime during the morning and I figured I'd try to get some quick advice off the net before attempting to fix him up. Nothing to helpful so we went ahead and did the best we could. As I said, it loooks like he's doing fine so far. Next time, before you start trying to preach and intimidate people, maybe you should find out a little more about the situation. Or how about simply answering the question
