blueish scales?

my 10month old iguana started eatting again.. but i've noticed something strange about his scales. he recently just shedded all over.. and now scales that were once white and now a sky blue color... is that normal? should i be worried?
and .. i just bought him Pretty Pets juvenile iguana food, (kinda looks like fruity pebbles) and he won't eat that.. i'm guessing because he's not used to it. how do i get him to eat the nutritionally fortified food?
