Hi, I was just reading through some of the posts here and thought I'd say hi.
Very soon I will be getting my first iguana. I'm very excited! Currently I'm
also keeping turtles, so I'm hoping most of the care will be similar. Luckily my
fiance has kept iguanas before so he'll be helpful.
I'm just worried about getting an iguana that will be aggressive. I know that they
can get testy when they are shedding, but overall are their temperaments
fairly calm? I'm all ready to provide plenty of space for the new arrival, we just
got a large reptarium that is being set up as we speak.
Can iguanas be handled often? Do they like it or would they rather not? I've heard of
some getting mean and whipping tails and what not. Does this happen often?
I can't wait to get the baby and I'm so excited to learn more about keeping a new kind of
reptile.
Thanks in advance!
Lesha
