Thought I'd share this little bit of info with you though -Did you know that the "treatment" an iguana receives during its first few days, weeks and months sets the tone for its adult life? I have to ask why you would buy an iguana from someone who you know is not caring for it properly? Are you prepared to provide vet care to this new ig along with the one you just brought home? Do you have the money ? Because the reality of it is, if she is that clueless as to be feeding the igs animal protein, I bet she hasn't had them wormed either. Are you prepared to pay a vet to worm them? Or are you going to totally disregard the story of Rocko that recently was posted on this board and then you'll just run out anf buy iguana #5.

You're not really rescuing anyone from anything.
Maybe before you bring that 4th iguana home you should concentrate on #3 for awhile so that it does not become a repeat of #1 and #2. Sound harsh? Please remember that we run an iguana rescue and I hear stories like yours all the time. I have to be harsh because most other people will not be. Someone has to be willing to put the truth card out on the table even though it is not the popular thing to do.
