I made a miscalculation on the bulbs they appear to only be 4' in length! who made the bulb is hardly important(zoo med btw). And for the second question. I know that some of you are vegitable illiterate...so I will explain big leafy greens. I feed primarily greens and so you know the top of the carrot holds twice as many nutrients as the carrot itself and is far easier for the iguana to digest... I feed collard greens, mustard, swiss chard, spinach, she really really likes dandelion greens which are probably the healthiest thing you can feed them but they are in limited supply!. And I suppliment every other meal with vitamins I was supplimenting her every time until she reached sexual maturity.. I hope that you now have a clear understanding of greens! Now I havent taken her to the vet since she I bought her years ago. I havent seen anything irregular in her feces or her color to show any signs of an internal parasite. and no she couldnt have gotten them from outside! And on the basking spot I am not talking about air temperature. I am talking about the branch surface itself 110 is an ideal surface temp the temps they would have in the wild are closer to 130.. And for those who think this is poor information I got it directly from the curator of the oklahoma city zoo.. Directly from his mouth! All I wanted was to know if anyone had any advice as to how i could get the lizard larger... that was all.. And the lizard is healthy and always will be so do not worry about that! Please if you have some advice as to how I can accomplish this please let me know otherwise bug off!
