Good luck breeding...you might want to do a little research on the issue, otherwise you may just end up with two mangled iguanas (well, one mangled female with bite wounds!) and no babies. Iguanas are polygynous and breed in harems, and each male needs 4-10 females in order to breed, with no guarantee that any of those females will actually give birth, plus timing the two at their "breeding season" may be a challenge you may not want to handle..just some thoughts.
Im not joking. I am going to buy another iguana and raise it up and hope that it is male and possibly eventually breed them.. And like I said before the temp coming from about is about 98 the basking spot like I explained before is 110 the actual surface of the branch is 110 the air temp is much lower. Go outside put your hand on the ground and tell me if it is the same as the air temp...You will find out that it is alot hotter on flat ground even on an exposed tree limb! I am not trying to be rude. I just asked for some advice and it seemed as if they were just looking to ridicule the way I was rasing my pet. I am ok with this but to a point.. All I wanted was an answer.. nothing more! thanks!
