Question about hibiscus

Hello, all. I would like to get a hibiscus plant for Rex, but when I went to the nursery, there are several different varities that I wasn't sure what to get. Does it matter? Is ANY hibiscus safe for ig's to eat? There was a taller, almost tree-like one there that was about 5 feet tall that would be too cool, if it's safe! :)
