: Hello, all. I would like to get a hibiscus plant for Rex, but when I went to the nursery, there are several different varities that I wasn't sure what to get. Does it matter? Is ANY hibiscus safe for ig's to eat? There was a taller, almost tree-like one there that was about 5 feet tall that would be too cool, if it's safe! :)

: Thanks ahead of time!
: Tracie

hi tracie if i were you i wouldnt use live plants 1st of all live plants at the nursery are probably sprayed with a insecticide not good can make youre pet sick 2nd they sometimes after awhile tend to get little nats flying around in the soil my vet told me to take them out of my chameleon cage because my pet caught parasites from live plants . i would use plastic or silk they are wshale and safer. mike
