We also have a Rose of Sharon that has yet to be planted!!! Its stil sitting in the plastic pot we purchased it in. Its nothing like the hibiscus plants that HD has described that we have.

We bought the Rose of Sharon for Larry (chuckwalla). It was on the list of plants I was told to look for that chucks can eat. I assume that it would be safe for GG Igs since chucks are in the inguanidae family.
