How to keep greens fresh

Hi
I buy 3 or more types of greens at a time, but only have two sulcatas and one iguana. Some of the greens go bad before I can use it all (which is about a week or two at most). Can anyone tell me what is a good why of storeing it, I tryed to freeze them once but it was all soggy after and I couldn't use it. I all was wouldering if endive and chickory greens are the same thing at wal-mart it is listed as endive/chickory, also what is loose leave lettuce, does it have any other names.
