This is what I do, and it keeps the greens as fresh as two weeks....
When I bring home fresh greens, I let them drip a bit in the dish drainboard. Then I destem and remove any yukky parts of the greens. I wrap them in a layer of paper towels and bag them in a new bag (each bag is one type of green, not mixed together as some greens stay better than others). I've been able to keep greens for about 2 weeks...which is basically how long Vega$ takes to eat them.
I learned this from mother, who's been doing this since I was a kiddie!!! I'd like to say it's an oooolllddd chinnneeeeese sekkkkret, but it aint' :) *giggle*
