Any advice on finding a lost snake?

Kaiser has left her tank. I have no idea where she could be. All exit doors were closed to the room, but a cat was in there as well. I found no remains so I am hoping that means a live snake, for now. I am keeping the room isolated from all other critters and children. Is there any popular places I should look? Leave a trap with a pinky? Any advice would be appreciative.
