We use duct tape on the corners of all our tanks, even though they have sliding tops with lockpins! Small snakes are escape artists, and if you don't have the top firmly secured, (some snakes have escaped tops with HEAVY articles on top of them!), you may be in for trouble. We truely hope you find her after all you have been through!
We have always used duct tape, as a back up, and we haven't lost a snake yet, and all of our snakes have been babies when we got them.
