My 6-1/2' blackrat hit the bricks two weeks ago.He was in a large plastic container with a locking lid in my basement for cooling purposes.He was there one day and the next all I could find was scales from him squeezing out from under the lid.It was the same container he wintered in last year without incident.I'm not too worried,maybe he will show up in the spring.
