Thanks for the ideas! Unfortunately, all my heavy furniture is up against walls, & being confined to a wheelchair, any lifting/ shifting is out. I'm gonna try moving the rugs & see what happens. I'm thinking it probably got out the door, because the dog has never indicated the snake may be around & I wasn't noticing (ie - it hasn't gone diving at anything! LOL)
