Patrick, you reply like you want to have something informative to add but you spend more time correcting my grammar than answering ANY of the questions I posed. I do abbreviate and try to make these posts smaller than I need. Let me open your eyes to the arguement...
For example in corns and boas and ball pythons there is the existence of "caramel albinos","lavender albinos" and regular albinos. Dr. Bechtel aknowledges the HYPOMELANISTIC anomalies much as I did in my last post. That albinos are technically hypomelanistic due to thier reduction in melanin.
Now I make an arguement that the "HYPO" gene(a named gene)will not be completely accurate as its only time before another gene displaying a different charecteristic of HYPOMELANISM is proved. What then? Why fall into a "set" name that we KNOW we will have to re-name later?
More to the point, have you ever SEEN a "HYPO" glades rat? What do you think? Would you call it albino? If you werent influenced by what others had to think? Do you think this way because of what YOU think or because of what the population thinks? I have yet to get a single answer from either of your posts,Jeff
