:You're doing a great job IMHO showing the basic question Jeff was posting. The Hypo Glades picture in the "Corn Snakes and Other Rat Snakes" book on page 55 looks like Adam's hypo glades. I've seen several occasions where someone calls a snake albino, but the snake doesn't have the pink eyes of an albino. Have you ever heard them referred to as Golden Eye albinos?

I haven't heard them being called `golden eye albinos'... makes me think they ought to be drinking martinis shaken and not stirred or something... : )

: I think the word "albino" is more general and opens up some things being thrown into that term.

I would tend to agree... `albino' is often used in a pretty bastardized form. In it's pure form it doesn't really apply to any snakes, except perhaps some of the blizzard corns (though most of those that I've seen still have some yellow on them)... in its impure form it's a pretty useless term.

: I personally prefer to purchase an "amelanistic" morph as opposed to an albino. Thanks for the info and input Patrick.

Heh... try getting me not to offer input... it ain't easy. : )
