I dont mean to jump into the middle of your exclusive conversation regarding morphs, but.... the main thing to realize is that a term (such as hypo, or amelanistic) is something which has been predefined and when a new animal is born, some people may "market" the animal as a "hypo" or an "albino" even if the animal does not match up to the definition of the term being used to describe it.

Hypomelanistic means that the animal has significantly reduced amounts of melanin. Melanin is the pigment that produces the black and brown colors on snakes.

Amelanistic means that the animal has no melanin.

Axanthic means that the animal has no xanthine (ssp?)Xanthine is responsible for all yellow coloration on snakes.

Someone can call a snake that is white with black eyes albino or amelanistic, but if the snake has melanin then it really is not amelanistic. Albino White Water Rosy boas are NOT albinos (if you equate albinism in snakes to amelanism). Maybe there is a definition for a snake that lacks all melanin but the melanin that pigments the eyes. It is just easier for most people to call it an albino because it practically is an albino.
