Eastern Indigos

How are Eastern Indigos as pets? What is their tempermant, are they agressive, very calm and slow moving, or what? When handled they aren't like pythons and boas where they wrap around you are they? Are they for the most part nice or can they be real pissed off snakes like some big bull snakes I have seen? I think these are awesome animals, but I don't think I can afford one from what I have heard. Maybe I will go for something like a black pine snake or a black milksnake, would that be similar snake?
