I live in Florida(big sigh)

First of all, I should let you all know that I love eastern indigo snakes with a passion. For the last couple of months I have learned all that is possible about them on the internet and various reptile books/magazines. Then, much to my disappointment, I found out that it's virtually impossible to receive a permit for eastern indigos if you live in Florida. How sad I am. Are there any snakes near impressive and beautiful as the eastern indigo? I think not. So now I have to go on living in Florida without the accompanying wonder of the indigo.
