I have a few Eastern Indigos and a female Texas Indigo. The TI is second to the Easterns as far as looks. I think you cant beat a jet black beauty. That said, my Texas Indigo female is bigger, just as calm and beautiful in her own way with some awesome tiger stripes on the belly and a great looking ivory white chin.

I have no experience with the other cribos, but most are pretty impressive and some calm down well.

I think the closest you can get to an Eastern is the Texas Indigos and you are getting just as much snake as an Eastern.

: All is not lost, Texas Indigos would be legal for you to keep, I believe, also Cribos, the South American Indigos are large (some bigger then easterns) fantastic snakes, Yellowtails, Unicolos, Blacktailes, all great snakes and available. Good Luck.
