You dont know unless you try. If you are looking to get a cool pet then odds are you will be denied. Vet or wildlife background helps. I live in South Florida and have a permit and own a young male eastern indigo. I am a vet tech of 10 years at an exotic hospital. I also volunteer at the busiest wildlife care center in the USA. My snake was obtained to promote awareness of indigos and their habitat. He will be doing his first appearance in a month or so at a local grade school. Being a native I can remember catching a playing with beautiful adults. Indigos are the most beautiful snakes in the world. I will do my best to educate those who know no better.
