Speaking of yellowtails, I need some advice! I've kept all sorts of snakes for years, but I've got a 6ft. yellowtail cribo that I can't seem to trick into eating at all. Other keepers have told me they ate like pigs, but this one won't touch mice, live or dead, fish, or lizards. What would someone suggest? He's been treated for internal parasites about 4 weeks ago, and I've used the spray-stuff for external parasites. He seems healthy, and has ample opportunity to stay warm. He's active in spells (never attempted to bite the first four or five weeks I had him, then NAILED the back of my hand a few days ago--by the way, he's got functional teeth, too!)
I'd appreciate any suggestions someone might have. I have access to just about anything that's classified as potential snake-food, if you could just suggest something. I feel that a snake as large and potentially active as this is probably getting pretty near needing a meal! Thanks for your posts/e-mails!
