Patience may pay off. Back in the late 60's, I collected a 7 and 1/2 foot couperi that regurged a 4 foot yellow rat. I could not for the life of me get him to eat the usual fare of chicks, rats, or even racers. Another kid in the neighborhood begged me to sell him this snake. I agreed, and this kid promptly goes to a local pet shop and pays retail for a feeder yellow rat. Needless to say, his expensive meal was promptly accepted. The killer is that this Indigo went on to eat damn near anything; chicken livers, gizzards, etc., I'm sure you've heard these stories before. I've always regretted letting that big boy get away from me. If I only knew a little bit about scenting techniques back then.....T Dance
