Thanks for the advice, guys! I'll keep trying.
I was just starting to loose heart, because the big fellow hasn't even show interest in anything I put in his cage, and I've been wondering how long something this big with what would seem like a fairly active metabolism and lifestyle, can stay alive without eating. I expect big crotalus or agkistrodon to go for a long time between meals without problems, but these guys seem to be Central America's version of black racers on steroids! I appreciate the posts!
