Thanks for the advice. My boyfriend was home with him today and says it looks like he ate the cricket we gave him yesterday, he put another cricket in this morning and now that one is gone too. Maybe he's a little older than we thought, sure is tiny though. He seems to be doing so much better than when we found him, I think he'll be just fine.

We're going to move him into a bigger tank today. He's in a temporary setup right now, but we have an old 20 gallon tank and we're gonna get him some hiding spots and that plant you recommend. Right now he's in a spot where he's left alone, but he doesn't have much room to swim and hide.

Do we need to get an air pump or anything like that? I am not sure how long we want to keep him, we just want him to get a little bigger so he has a good chance, because the only place I know of to re-release him is a huge lake. But I don't know how fast he'll grow or how long we'll have him, so I want to be sure that while he is in our care we do everything right.
