First time breeder question

Hey folks.
I'm looking to breed some of my Hondurans for the first time this year. My question is a simple one. When, exactly, is the best time to start introducing the male and female? I've read conflicting advice..some says within a week or so of warm-up and others suggest after the first or second time the female sheds. Any input?
