In my experience, I have found Hondurans to be late breeders, with most mating activity taking place in the month of May. They usually need at least two sheds before anything is going to happen. I have also found that a shed does not seem to immediately trigger a breeding response as it does in other types of snakes. Sometimes a male will wait a week or two after a female sheds before he will begin courting her. Your best bet would be to periodically introduce the female to the male and watch for courtship behavior. One thing I've learned about breeding reptiles: You gotta have patience.
