Good point Sue but not much need for worry!
Assuming your male has fed well prior to her ovulating, you will not have to worry.
The trick is not to leave them together unattended IF you are not sure on the males intention. When she does ovulate, food will be the last thing on his mind.
If you see her trashing her tail about, she is not ready, best to keep feeding her in between introductions.
