Annoying iguana

Hello all,
I was wondering if any else has had the same problem I am having right now with my ig. She is about 3.5' long. I have a cage for her that is 6'x4'x6'. She only spends about half the day in there. During the day, she gets a couple hours outside of sun, and sometimes we let her kick back outside of the cage. But as soon as she goes in there, she has to drive me crazy. She keeps climbing up and down the cage walls, and scratching at the corner, like she is trying to dig out. The cage is pleny big for her, and its not like she spends all the time in there.

In addition she is a FILTHY PIG. She deficates all over the place, including on her basking shelf. Its completely disgusting. In the beginning of the year, we tried to free roam her, and teach her to deficate in a litter box. She would do good for a week or two, then decide the coach, or the floor is better. She is smart, so I know she knows what the box is. It just appears she does it to spite me. She is so gross, sometimes she will roll or something in the poop. Does anyone else have a little filthy slob like this?
