Ceramic heat (need some help here)

I want to heat an enclosure for iguanas, it is 4' deep 8' long and 7' high. That comes to 224 square feet. Which would cost less in electricity: a ceramic heat emitter or a small portable ceramic heater. Does everyone know what I am talking about? Maybe a better question would be: what is the most cost effective way to heat a large enclosure?
